BEFORE THE EVENT... (things you should do at home to prepare for a smooth arrival at the feis!)
Consult the schedule above to see when your dancer is competing. For those of you new to feising, our Tiny Tot, Beginner, Adv. Beginner, Novice and Prizewinner competitors will all be dancing on stages 1, 2 and 3 starting at 8:30 am. All levels will dance their reels, then all levels will dance light jig... and so on and so forth through to Hornpipe. All of these events are expected to be completed by 11 am.
After Wednesday, June 23rd, you should log into www.feisweb.com to print your dancer's competitor number. Please do not forget a safety PIN to pin your number to your costume!
Doors will open at 7:30 am. After having your temperature taken, you will proceed to our Welcoming Committee to turn in your "Waiver of Liability" Form which you can print at home,HERE. We strongly advise you print and sign this document before coming to the feis to save time when entering the building.
THE VENUE - Entertainment, Food, Covid Protocols, etc.
We are super excited to host you in our new venue, Iron Peak Sports and Events. Iron Peak has LOTS to offer - a Ninja Course, indoor climbing area and arcade games. Check out their website for prices and restrictions. Iron Peak will have all entertainment and gaming open the day of our feis! ironpeakse.com/cliffhanger/
NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK is allowed in the venue. Iron Peak has a cafe with lots of different food and drink options, including wine and beer for adults.
NO CAMPING ALLOWED. The venue will be supplying seating.
ABSOLUTELY NO HARD SHOES will be allowed in the awards or vendor area.
As per the current New Jersey state guidelines, Iron Peak Sports and Events have told us that masks are not required, however anyone who has not been fully vaccinated (at least two weeks from final vaccine shot) is strongly encouraged to wear a mask while on site.
Originally we asked that each dancer only bring one support person with them, however because of the change in recent guidelines, we are allowing TWO support persons per dancer. We must say ahead of time that there is limited seating available and the venue is not allowing people to bring their own chairs.
